Insurance when moving: home insurance and damage

A home insurance policy protects your belongings against, among other things, fire, water damage and theft. When you move, the new insurance policy applies to both addresses for between 14 and 45 days. If the removal company damages something, you complain in writing to the company, and if the company says no, you can report it to ARN (the National Board for Consumer Disputes) within one year from the first complaint, if the claim is at least 750 kronor.
