Self storage or storage with a removal company?

In a self storage unit, you drive the items there yourself, have your own access and pay monthly rent per storage unit. With a removal company with storage, the company collects your belongings, stores them and delivers them when you are ready, and you do not have access to the items during that time. The company's transport gives RUT tax deduction but not the storage, so ask for a quote where the two are separate. Storage of furniture: how do the items get to the storage unit?

You drive there yourself, let a removal company drive or borrow what the storage unit offers. Mitt Lager in Gothenburg lends its trailer to customers who are going to or from the storage unit, and Shurgard lends carts on site but does not pick up. If the furniture is going to stand for a long time, choose a storage unit that you can access on the days and times you need. If you need a car or trailer for a day, the renters are on the side to rent a trailer or moving van.
