On Google the profile "Crown Relocations - Stockholm" has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 171 reviews. The firm says it moves all over the world and owns more than 200 warehouses in almost 60 countries. It publishes no prices, so you need to ask for a quote.
The company reg. no. is not on the pages we read. The link is based on the company and the Google profile having the same address. We could see only the Stockholm office, and the Trustpilot rating applies to the whole group.

What should the quote include?
Labour and transport separately, because the RUT tax deduction applies only to the labour cost. Also ask for the delivery window in the new country, how the goods are insured and for what amount, and who prepares the customs documents. The quote template below asks for all of that.

Does the RUT tax deduction apply to a move abroad?
Yes, when the move is between your homes or storage units within the EU/EEA or Switzerland. If any part of the move is carried out in Sweden, the firm must have Swedish F-skatt. If the firm transports the goods by air or sea, that part gives no deduction.

Does Bohag 2010 apply when the move goes abroad?
Bohag 2010 is an agreement between the removal industry and Konsumentverket, and firms that are members of Sveriges Åkeriföretag or Sveriges Möbeltransportörers Förbund must follow it. We have not been able to confirm whether it applies to a move abroad. Ask the firm to state in the quote whether it applies to your move.

- The RUT tax deduction requires that the move is between homes within the EU/EEA or Switzerland and that the company has Swedish F-skatt. Transport by air or sea gives no deduction (Skatteverket).
- Firms in Sveriges Åkeriföretag or Sveriges Möbeltransportörers Förbund must follow Bohag 2010 (Konsumentverket). Whether it applies abroad is not clear; ask for it in writing.
Common questions
Can I cancel a move abroad?
If the firm follows Bohag 2010, you can cancel free of charge up to 15 days before the move, according to Konsumentverket. There is no statutory right of withdrawal.
How do I check that the firm is reputable?
Look the firm up in Transportstyrelsen's e-service Kontrollera trafiktillstånd, and ask whether it follows Bohag 2010 and how the goods are insured.

Household work includes move-out cleaning in the home (point 1) and moving household goods and other personal property between homes and to and from storage (point 7).

An agreement between the removal industry and Konsumentverket. Members of Sveriges Åkeriföretag and Sveriges Möbeltransportörers Förbund must follow it, and Konsumentverket regards it as good practice for the whole industry. Among other things it gives the right to cancel free of charge up to 15 days before the move.
