Which sources do we read?
For the removal companies and storage providers:
- Traffic permits in Transportstyrelsen's e-service Check traffic permit.
- F-tax according to allabolag.se.
- Rating and number of reviews on Google Maps, read the same day.
- RUT tax deduction, prices, boxes and storage according to the company's own website. These are marked "company states".
For the rules we read the statute text on riksdagen.se and the authorities' own pages: Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency), Transportstyrelsen (the Swedish Transport Agency), Konsumentverket (the Swedish Consumer Agency), Energimarknadsinspektionen, the City of Gothenburg and 1177. Each page has its sources in a box with the address and the date retrieved.
We recommend removal companies that have an office or address in the municipality of Gothenburg, a rating of at least 4.5 on Google from at least 100 reviews, entries in Transportstyrelsen's register of traffic permits and an F-skatt certificate. The company must offer the RUT tax deduction on the move. We prefer companies that publish prices, and local companies over chains that only have a local page for Gothenburg.

The companies and storage providers were checked on 2 October 2026. The legal provisions, templates and links for each step were checked on 3 October 2026. The date is shown next to each item, and when we check an item again the date is updated. The aim is a new review every month.
What do the marks mean?

- The information comes from the company's own website. We have not been able to confirm it anywhere else.

- The editorial team's choice in the category, with the reason stated at the company. The others are in alphabetical order.
How are the guides reviewed?
The guides and steps are written by the editorial team and reviewed against the statute text and the sources. The date of the latest review is shown on each guide and is the same as Last checked. The guides are not legal advice. In a dispute, contact Hyresnämnden (the Regional Rent Tribunal) or Hyresgästföreningen (the Swedish Union of Tenants).
Do the companies pay to be listed?
No. Nobody pays to be listed. Webraketen has no business arrangement with the removal companies, the storage providers or the comparison services.
Who runs the site?
Webraketen in Gothenburg. The guides are written by the editorial team. Requests for move-out cleaning go to Städly Lokalvård AB (reg. no. 559444-2955), which carries out the move-out cleaning. How it works is described on how it works.
