Recycling centres in Nyköping
The waste management department within the municipality's technical division operates the recycling centres, at 19 locations in the municipality: Björshult, four fixed in the countryside and one mobile with 14 locations. Private individuals pay no fee. All waste must be delivered loose, not in bags, but a transparent bag is accepted if everything in it is combustible. At the four smaller ones, you can leave as much as fits in your car and trailer, a maximum of one trailer per opening day and not with a lorry. Larger quantities are driven to Björshult, which limits the number of vehicles with stoplights at the entrance.

What do I do with the things that are not coming with me?
Our advice is to sort out what you are not taking with you when you start packing, and take it to a recycling centre before moving day. Then the removal company only carries and drives what is coming along, and the working time gets shorter.
