Room by room before inspection

The photos are our advice. Take them with date on your phone, preferably both overview and close-up where something is damaged.

Before the removal company arrives

• Write down the valuable and fragile items below, with an estimated value for each.
• Give the list to the removal company before the move starts. The company should check it when the job starts and when it is finished.
• Photograph the items before they are packed.
• Go through your belongings as soon as the move is finished and photograph any damage. Keep the damaged items and packaging.
• Make a written complaint to the removal company within a reasonable time after you have noticed the damage.

Inspection and keys

• Photograph each room when the apartment is empty and cleaned.
• Attend the final inspection and ask for a copy of the protocol.
• Leave all keys and get a receipt that you have left them.
