Step 3: Where do I leave bulky waste in Borås?

You can enter with your driving license, and a free number of visits is included in the waste subscription. The car can weigh a maximum of 3.5 tons, and you can leave a maximum of 3 cubic meters per visit. The staff cannot help you unload. If you come with a light truck registered to a company, the visit must be pre-registered, otherwise it will be charged. In Fristad, Dalsjöfors and Viskafors, other opening hours apply from 22 June to 9 August, and on other days they are only open to customers with a Green Card.

Step 5: Can the moving truck stand on the street in Borås?

Using public space for something other than its intended purpose, for example placing a container on the street, usually requires police permission, so-called markupplåtelse. The police charge 990 kr and state that permission is not needed if the location is only used temporarily and to a minor extent. The municipality does not specify anything about a moving truck that is only loading.
