Where can I leave furniture and items that can be used again in Falun?
At Återbruket, the first large building when you drive into the Falu recycling center. It has the same opening hours as the recycling center. There you can leave, for example, furniture, beds, lamps, household items, functioning home electronics, bicycles, sports equipment, toys, books and clothes. Building materials are also accepted, such as wood over one meter, whole packages of flooring and tiles, tools and stone slabs. Återbruket does not sell anything and does not hand out anything on site. The items go to organizations such as the Red Cross, PMU Second Hand and Human Bridge, which sell or donate them further. Pack the reuse items last in the car, so you can leave them first.

What do I do with the things that are not coming with me?
Our advice is to sort out what you are not taking with you when you start packing, and take it to a recycling centre before moving day. Then the removal company only carries and drives what is coming along, and the working time gets shorter.
