Where can the moving truck stand when the removal help is loading in Halmstad?
Halmstad municipality charges for containers on the municipality's land but writes nothing about a moving truck that only loads, and the police require no permit when the place is used temporarily and to a negligible extent. If a container for what you clear out is to stand on the street, you need both a police permit for 990 kronor and the municipality's allocation: 879 kronor in administration and 85 kronor per day, or 110 kronor per day on a parking space. The administration at the police can sometimes take 6 to 8 weeks, so apply early. If you move to an area with resident parking, you can buy the new permit only when your new address is with Transportstyrelsen. The old one you terminate before 6 pm on the last day of the month.

When should the move be completed at HFAB?
At HFAB, the municipality's housing company, the cleaning and final inspection must be completed by 12 pm on the move-out day, and you book it yourself. Keys, tags and washing cylinders must be handed in by the same time. The removal help must therefore be completed early enough for the apartment, with balcony and patio, to be cleaned before the inspection. The first inspection, the move-out inspection, is done within seven days of the notice of termination.

Can the same company move and clean in Halmstad?

The company should give RUT tax deduction on the move. We prefer companies that publish prices. No quote mediators.
