Step 2: Which removal companies in Helsingborg do you recommend?

Step 3: Where do I take bulky waste in Helsingborg?

NSR is responsible for waste collection and recycling centres in Helsingborg, which has a recycling centre. Private individuals without a driving licence, with a holiday home without being registered in the owner municipalities, with a protected identity or helping an estate of a deceased person can apply for an ÅVC card. Hazardous waste, tyres and asbestos are only accepted by NSR in limited quantities.

Step 4: What applies to resident parking when you move in Helsingborg?

Notify Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) of the move before you move or at the latest one week after. The city sells digital parking permits by area and calendar month in the system Parkera Helsingborg, with a queue when it is full. The city's website has no page about resident parking when moving, so we have not been able to establish the rules for someone who has just moved there.

Step 5: Can the removal van stand on the street in Helsingborg?

If you need to store something temporarily outside your property boundary, you apply for a permit from the police. If you get a permit, the City of Helsingborg charges rent for the use of the land. The amount is not stated on the city's page. The Nyttokort applies to business parking for traders at a temporary workplace, for example tradespeople, and is not expressly mentioned for removal companies.

Step 7: What happens at the inspection and key handover?

The last step is handing over the home. Book the move-out cleaning so that it is finished before any inspection, and return all the keys. Keep the invoices from the removal company and the move-out cleaning, where the RUT tax deduction should be shown. Both deductions count towards the same ceiling of 75,000 kronor per person and year.
