How many times can I leave waste for free in Helsingborg?
Every adult registered in Helsingborg has twelve free visits per year to NSR's recycling centres, paid via the waste tax. If there are two adults in the household, you have 24 visits. You check in with your physical driving licence with barcode or QR code. Digital ID card and passport do not work. If you do not have a driving licence, you get a recycling centre card directly at the first visit. When the free visits are over, you can pay by invoice or with a payment card. If you only want to leave packaging and newspapers, you do not need to check in at all.

Can NSR collect bulky waste when I move?
Only if you live in a detached house. With a detached house subscription, you get bulky waste collected at the plot boundary four times a year without extra cost, a maximum of five bundles per time, and each bundle should be able to be carried by two people. You book on My pages, mark each bundle with a note that says Bulky waste and put them out no later than 6 am on the collection day. If you live in a rental apartment or tenant-owned apartment, NSR does not collect bulky waste. Then the property owner should ensure that you can leave it near the house.

Five pressure vessels per visit are free. After that, for example, a fire extinguisher costs 250 kr.

What do I do with the things that are not coming with me?
Our advice is to sort out what you are not taking with you when you start packing, and take it to a recycling centre before moving day. Then the removal company only carries and drives what is coming along, and the working time gets shorter.
