Where can the moving truck stand when the removal help is loading in Karlstad?
If you live in KBAB, the municipal housing company, the moving truck can drive in and load on the car-free courtyards. The condition is that there is activity at the truck at least every tenth minute. The municipality does not write about moving trucks on the street. For a container or something that stands on the municipality's land for a while, a police permit and a fee to the municipality are required, and the application should be submitted four weeks in advance. If traffic is affected, a traffic management plan is also required, which costs 1,500 kronor and is applied for three weeks in advance.

When should the move be completed at KBAB?
At KBAB, the apartment must be left at the latest at 11.30 a.m. on the day after the lease period has expired. You have the morning after the last lease day on you, but the property needs to be out before you move after KBAB’s checklist. The checklist is booked after the termination. The termination period is usually three months from the next month shift, so the move day can be planned in good time.

What is the cost of removal help per hour in Karlstad?
Hanssons Flyttxpress publishes hourly rates after RUT tax deduction. According to the price list on 6 October 2026, two men and a lorry cost 850 kronor per hour (at the top of the page it says 800), two men with a larger car of 45 cubic meters cost 950 kronor, three men cost 1,150 kronor and four men with two lorries cost 1,600 kronor. The company charges for a minimum of two hours, so even a small move with two men costs 1,600 to 1,700 kronor after RUT tax deduction.

How did you choose the companies in Karlstad?
We recommend removal companies that have an office or address in Karlstad municipality, at least 4.5 in rating on Google from at least 30 reviews, information in the Transport Agency's register of traffic permits and F-tax certificate.
