Step 4: What applies to residents' parking when you move in Linköping?

Report the move to Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) before you move or at the latest a week after. Residents' parking is available in Gottfridsberg, Hejdegården, Ramshäll, Tannefors, Vasastaden, Vimanshäll and Östra Valla and costs 420 kronor a month. You must be registered as living in the area and be at least 18, and the vehicle must be in service and weigh no more than 3.5 tonnes. If you are refused as a new resident even though you meet the conditions, try again the next day, because the population registration takes time to come through.
