Where can the removal van be parked when the removal help is loading in Lund?
Lund municipality does not mention a moving truck that is just loading, and the police do not require a permit when the location is used temporarily and to a minor extent. If something needs to stay longer, for example a container for what you are clearing out, it is a markupplåtelse. Then you apply for a permit from the police, which costs 990 kronor, and the municipality charges its own fee. If you rent the container from Lund's waste management, the police permit must be with them by the day before it is put out. The road ahead must be at least 3 meters wide with 4.5 meters of free height, and where the container is placed, 6.5 meters of free space is needed upwards. Resident parking is only available in certain parts of central Lund, and you apply for it from LKP when you are registered at the address.

When should the move be completed at LKF?
LKF has about 40 percent of the rental apartments in the municipality, so many moves in Lund start there. The apartment must be emptied and cleaned before 12 o'clock on the day the contract ends, and you hand in the keys at the area office before the same time. If you book the moving help on the same day, it must come early, and the cleaning must be done afterwards. Do not give the keys directly to the next tenant: key exchange only goes through the area office, otherwise you will have to pay for a lock change. The inspection is booked no later than two working days after the notice, and then the apartment does not need to be emptied.
