Where can the removal lorry stand when the removal help is loading in Malmö?
Malmö city has no rules of its own for removal lorries. If you live in an MKB property, you ask the area staff where the lorry can stand during the move and how the gates to the yard work. If you want a container on public land, you need a police permit and a fee to the city for the land, and according to the city's rules for construction sites, the processing takes about four weeks. If the parking needs to be closed off, a traffic management plan may be required.

When should the move be completed at MKB?
MKB does a preliminary inspection within five days of the notice, and you suggest times already when you cancel on My pages. The landlord books the final inspection no later than one week before the contract expires, and you hand in the keys in connection with it. They must be in no later than 12 o'clock on the first public holiday-free weekday after the agreement has expired, otherwise the lock may need to be replaced at your expense. You can move out earlier, but the contract still applies until the end date.

Where does the moving help take what should not be taken in Malmö?
Furniture and trash must not be placed in environmental houses or basement corridors at MKB. If you live in an apartment, VA Syd can pick up up to five bulky waste items that you have carried out to a road where the truck can stop. It costs 180 kronor in advance and 60 kronor per item, and you pay with Swish. The rest you drive to Sysav's recycling centres in Bunkeflo or Norra Hamnen.

How did you choose the companies in Malmö?
We recommend removal companies that have an office or address in Malmö municipality, a Google rating of at least 4.5 from at least 100 reviews, an entry in Transportstyrelsen's register of traffic permits and an F-skatt certificate. The company must give the RUT tax deduction on the move. We prefer companies that publish their prices.

What does a removal company in Malmö cost?

Is there a cheap removal company in Malmö?
What lowers the price is less work: pack yourself, sort out your things before the move and have everything ready when the company arrives. The RUT tax deduction removes at most half of the labour cost. We do not rank the firms by price, because they calculate it in different ways.
