Where can the removal van stand when the removal help is loading in Uppsala?
At Uppsalahem's estates the van can stand by the gate as long as you are loading. If it stands for about five minutes without anything happening it is considered parking, and then a control fee may be charged. If a container is to be placed on the street or pavement a permit is required from the police, which costs 990 kronor, and the municipality also charges ground rent. If the parking needs to be closed off for the move a local traffic regulation is also required.

When should the move be completed at Uppsalahem and Rikshem?
At Uppsalahem the move-out takes place on the first weekday of the month and should be completed by 12 o'clock. The inspection is booked within eight days of the notice of termination being registered, so you will find out early what needs to be done before the move. At Rikshem you can hire a cleaning company for the move-out cleaning, but the company sets the same requirements for the result. Plan the removal help so that the flat is empty in good time before the cleaning.

We recommend removal companies with an office or address in Uppsala municipality, a Google rating of at least 4.5 from at least 50 reviews, an entry in Transportstyrelsen's register of traffic permits and an F-skatt certificate. The firm must offer the RUT tax deduction on the move. We prefer firms that publish prices. No quote brokers.
