Move to Sundsvall step by step

Sundsvall has no municipal housing agency. Mitthem, the municipality's housing company and largest landlord with over 5,700 apartments, has its own queue where you get one point per day, and the notice period is three months. MSVA operates three recycling centres: Kretsloppsparken, Johannedal and Svartvik. A container on the street for a maximum of half a day requires a permit from the municipality, longer time a permit from the Police.

If a container is to be placed on street land for a short time, at most half a day, you may need a dispensation from the local traffic regulations. It costs 970 kr, and you apply to the municipality at least five working days in advance.
